First-ever AR clothing is produced by Ukrainian collab FINCH + FFFACE.ME

The future is fucking here! Now you can customize your digital look in 3D and create jaw-dropping content on socials with the first sustainable, wearable AR clothing.

It’s made possible by the Ukrainian collaboration of clothing brand FINCH and Instagram filter production studio FFFACE.ME.

We’re excited to announce our new product — AR Clothing made in collaboration with FFFACE.ME. Over the past 5 months, we’ve been working hard to make this piece of Fashion Tech look and work exactly as it should. Together with FFFACE we developed a capsule collection that augments with the help of Instagram.

These garments look ordinary until you activate them.

Here’s how to turn yourself into an insane creature of broken glass or liquid silver monster inside your camera in real-time wearing AR clothes:

1. Scan the QR-code printed on the garment to open its Instagram effect
2. Point your camera at the graphic print on the garment
3. Create Insta stories & tag @ffface.me and @finch_wear to get featured in our stories

Installing additional apps is not required. You simply tap Instagram, load up the effect, aim your camera at the print and you’re good to go. Unlike previous similar products with 2D animations, in this case, AR-layer works 100% in 3D. It even comes coupled with a face effect that completes the look.

We aimed to create one piece of physical clothing that would adapt over time in our digital environment. That is why our animation is abstract, yet sleek. It’s not bound to any particular message or occasion. Every month we will add a new AR-layer to keep generating new likes.

The garment’s print is a target tracker that won’t crumple or glare and works in any lighting. AR t-shirts and sweatshirts are now available on FINCH’s website and can be delivered worldwide.
